Shakta Kaur, E-RYT, is co-owner with her husband, Hari Dev Singh, of Kundalini Yoga in the Loop, located in The Fine Arts Building, 410 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. She can usually be found teaching at least a dozen Kundalini yoga and meditation classes each week between her studio, Hazelden Chicago, and Transitions Learning Center. She sponsors Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training annually and leads the team that organizes Chicago's annual April White Tantric Yoga course.

Shakta Kaur is a certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Instructor (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) and a Teacher Trainer for Breathwalk Instructor Certification (walking meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan). She has served as a Teaching Assistant at The Master's Touch course. Shakta has a personal interest in seeing that yoga teachers and yoga studio owners prosper. She comes from an entrepreneurial background. Shakta (aka Susan P. Kezios) founded Women in Franchising, Inc. (WIF), a consulting firm, in 1987 and the American Franchisee Association (AFA), a trade association of franchise owners, in 1993. Shakta has served in several positions on the Board of Directors of Yoga Alliance, including Interim CEO.
