Govindaraju Venkatachalam (Monaco/AUS)

Govindaraju Venkatachalam is a Yoga Teacher, Senior Yoga Therapist, Yoga Researcher and International Organiser s pecialising in treating cancer patients through Yoga in association with Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore - the biggest and most renowned Cancer Hospital in South India . He is currently based in Monaco where he is using his skills as a Yoga Therapist.

He has worked at the Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana Bangalore, India and had set up the Melbourne centre for them which he managed for seven years.

He has conducted various Yoga based courses in different countries including the U.K., Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Kenya, UAE, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia & New Zealand and now is currently working as Professeur de Yoga Salerie in Monaco.

He has conducted yoga classes to bring the benefits of Yoga to sufferers of Asthma, Diabetes, Anxiety Neurosis, Depression, Arthritis, Hypertension, G I Disorders, Obesity, Cancer, AIDS, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.

Govindaraju has been involved in collaborative research programs with Vivekananda Yoga Education, Research and Therapy Institiute, Bangalore India, with Mental Health Services, Melbourne and with Melbourne University.He has coordinated International Yoga Research in Australia, India and USA with RMIT University Australia, VYOMA Yoga University India, and UCSF at San Francisco USA, University of Queensland Australia and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya University India. He has also organised two International level conferences in Melbourne during his time there.
